An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Controller to join this well established and busy motor trade dealership based in Essex.
This position will suit an enthusiastic individual with Service or workshop control experience who enjoys a busy role. Knowledge of the Kerridge system will be an advantage.
The ideal candidate must have worked previously in a main car dealership and have good organisational and man management skills.
Responsibilities include:
Delegating workloads to productive staff in a workshop.
Supervising Technicians
Extensive liaison with Service Department to ensure smooth running of all jobs carried out to the dealerships standard.
Liaising with and assisting Technicians
Ensuring WIPs deadlines are met and carried out in a cost effective manner.
Gaining authorisation from customers to carry out additional work.
Adhering to companys Health and Safety regulations to prevent accidents within the workplace
