You must be able to support and enable people with Learning Difficulties to live as fulfilling and independent a life as possible. You must have a person centred approach and believe that people with Learning Difficulties can and should be included within their local community.
You must be committed to providing a supportive environment. All people who use our service are treated with dignity and respect and have the opportunity to express their views and choices.
Relief posts are paid a “rolled up rate” which includes holiday pay, equivalent of four weeks holiday per year.
Additional increments maybe payable for weekend and unsocial working.
Temporary posts pending the outcome of a service review, unless otherwise specified
Dereham Day Services, Southern Locality
Care Assistants x 3 (SSG08/1218 a-c)
£6.37 per hour
Post a: 7.25 hours per week (Tues)
Post b: 6.25 hours per week (Fri)
Both posts are temporary to cover secondment
Post c: 4 hours per week (Tues & Fri)
This is a temporary post subject to specific funding. You will be required to work with a person who uses services to attend hydro session. Ability to swim is essential.
