Great opportunity to be part of a friendly team as the Chef de Partie of a busy hotel restaurant in Southwold. You will be controlling the kitchen section under the supervision of the Head Chef while adhering to hygiene and presentations standards.
Duties include preparation and service of all sections of kitchen as directed by the Head Chef, on a daily basis to ensure a high standard of the final product and customer satisfaction. Menu planning on a daily basis ensuring a varying menu. Stock rotation. Liaising with the other chef's regarding ordering ingredients. Keeping section and equipment up to hygienic and safe working environment. Checking in food deliveries
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Chef de Partie with the ability to work well in a team and alone. You will have a good awareness of others, excellent communication skills and certified in Food Hygiene. Assessments of practical skills will be carried out prior to job offer. Live in accommodation available to successful candidates.
