Job Title - Catering Assistant
Diss High School
Term time only

Hourly Rate - £5.80
10hpw


Reporting To - Cook Manager


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare fruit, vegetables and salads and to carry out simple cooking tasks under the direction of the Cook Manager.
• Use and care of equipment, including daily and weekly cleaning.
• Cleaning of kitchen premises.
• Preparation and cleaning of the dining room wherever necessary.
• To assist with the service of meals and refreshments.
• The packing and temperature checking of transported meals (Meals on Wheels) where necessary.
• General washing up duties either by hand or machine.
• To comply with food hygiene, health and safety and QA procedures.
• To undertake any other duties as may be delegated.
