Job Title - Assistant Cook-in-Charge
Mildred Stone, Great Yarmouth

Hourly Rate - £7.04

Reporting To - Cook-In-Charge


Principle Duties of the Post

• The operational management of the kitchen when covering for the cook.
• The production and service of meals and refreshments.
• Other catering for functions as required.


Responsibilities of the Post

• The preparation, cooking and service of meals.
• Purchase of food where necessary in the absence of the Cook-in-Charge.
• Kitchen organisation and management
• Staff ‘on the job’ training in the absence of the Cook-in-Charge.
• Use and care of equipment.
• Staff and kitchen hygiene.
• Health and Safety at work.
• All records and returns as required in the absence of the Cook-in-Charge.
• Cash recording and collection from tenants.
• To undertake any other duties as may be delegated.
