Job Description
A major local Employer is seeking a Management Information Manager to lead a small team and to deliver excellence in terms of business reports for internal and external Management teams.
Main responsibilities of the MI Manager role includes:
- Responsible for the operational control of staff and work within the MI team.
- Recognize priorities and ensure that the MI team consistently meet deadlines & project targets.
- Responsible for the validation and quality of the reports to meet the needs of internal & external clients.
- Understand the business needs and to ensure reports are tailored to their requirements.
- Manage the continuous development of the MI team by providing relevant training.
- To work closely with internal departments to fully understand the reporting requirements.
- Also to continue to build the relationship with the other MI teams and to be able to participate in global international projects.
Successful applicants for the MI Manager role requires:
- Good IT skills including knowledge of Advanced Excel, Business Objects and SQL, Project, Vision
- Analytical Problem Solver
- Able to demonstrate good organisational and planning ability
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Previous experience of leading or supervising a team
- Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
- Insurance knowledge
