| DMA Health and Safety Ltd are looking to employ a graduate in a trainee CDM Co-ordinator role at our office in Woolpit. You need to be a dynamic individual looking to learn new skills. We need a team player, able to work on their own initiative with a pro-active outlook - good communication, a flexible approach and time management skills are essential. You will build strong relationships both internally and externally and need to be naturally confident. Job Description • Twelve month training contract to learn the role and skills of a CDM Co-ordinator/Health and Safety Advisor • Train to undertake the role of CDM Co-ordinator as required and described within the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007. • Train to undertake the role of health and safety adviser including assisting clients in establishing health and safety management structures, (at Corporate and operational level) compatible with their other management procedures. • Train to prepare Construction Phase Plans, including carrying out risk assessments and the writing of method statements when appointed by a contractor to undertake these duties. • Train to undertake site safety visits including the preparation of reports. • Train to undertake DDA Assessments. • Train to undertake Fire Risk Assessments. • Undertake health and safety training to both internal and external seminars, workshops and training sessions. • Train to undertake role of Party Wall Surveyor. • Train to undertake role of Crane Oversail Agent. The training programme will involve a NEBOSH Construction Course and other training courses. You will be mentored by a CDM Co-ordinator currently working within DMA. Qualifications – Degree, G.C.S.E. in Maths and English. 37 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 hrs. Friday 08:30 – 16:30 hrs. Holiday Allowance – 24 days plus bank holidays Stress Allowance - £480 per annum to be used for stress relief i.e. gym membership, golf membership, spa/facial/massage treatments. |
