An Award Winning Broker is looking to strengthen it's Account Handling team responsible for building and maintaining the
company’s book of business.
To be successful in this role, you must be capable of:
• understanding the clients’ business and risk profiles
• identifying and understanding clients’ needs
• communicating clients’ needs to the underwriter
• arranging quotations in response to requests
• ensuring that policies are fully explained to clients
• building a relationship with clients and giving prompt attention to their requests: discussing what their future insurance needs might be and maintaining business contact with them
• developing new business
• retaining business at renewal
• be aware of the importance of FSA compliance in respect of your activities
You will (or will learn in your initial training period):
• understand the benefits of Professional Indemnity Insurance for the new professions
• understand the benefits of Professional Indemnity Insurance for other professions (e.g. Architects, Engineers, Surveyors, Estate Agents, Interior Designers)
• understand the specific benefits of the other policies (e.g. D&O, Office)
• understand when to use the Binding Authority to self quote
• understand which of the panel of Insurers to use and when
• understand how claims are handled
• understand their innovative way of doing business and promote the company’s brand values
